This is the home of the Kelimu Trust, a fund that supports the education of promising young Kenyans from under-privileged backgrounds.

The Kenyan education system begins with eight years of primary school, for which there is no charge.  From the age of 13 or 14, children are expected to move on to secondary school but over half cannot raise the fees to do so.  This is where the Kelimu Trust comes in.

The Trust was set up to give bright children from poor homes a chance in life - to help them get an education, an opportunity and a new future.

We have a special focus on children from wildlife conflict areas and currently support around 50 children from the Maungu and Kasigau area adjacent to Tsavo East National Park and the Rukinga Wildlife Sanctuary, in Kenya’s Coast Province (click here for a map).

Welcome!
